The company Mandriva has announced the commercial server distribution Mandriva Enterprise Server 5.2. One of the main directions of development of the distribution is the organization of centralized control over the infrastructure of servers and workstations the company (it supports various Linux distributions, Unix and Windows). To organize the management platform is used Pulse2, supporting such functions as maintaining an inventory database computer, installing and updating applications on a group of machines, diagnostic services, remote management.

The distribution also includes a directory server Mandriva Directory Server, allowing users to organize a centralized database integration with back-end applications such as Samba, Postfix, Squid and CUPS. To manage LDAP-server prepared a special web-interface. Mandriva Enterprise Server 5.2 has been certified for compatibility with the standard LSB 4.0.
